The population of Urmia Armenians in 1898. Divided into Nazlu-Chai (Urmia-North) and Baranduz-Chai (south) districts. The columns represent the following divisions: 1- Family 2- Male 3- Female 4- Total (Female + Male) 5- Church(es) 6- Priest(s) 7- School(s) 8- Instructor(s) (teachers) 9- Students In Urmia and surrounding areas there were 4 Armenian schools in 1898. One in the city of Urmia(built around 1891), one in Village of Rahva (built around 1890), one in village of GardAbad (built around 1898) and one in village of Nakhchevan-Tapa.
