The port is out and Caelynn is home!!! I cannot believe all this happened already. I know that we will never be back to normal again but I still thank God for allowing us to get through some of the hardest moments of our life. It feels like it was just yesterday Caelynn was diagnosed and now her port is out and I have faith that she will slowly get to enjoy her childhood again!!. Crazy how our minds block us from remembering all of the bad times because I can honestly tell you I have no idea how we got through it all. I cant wait until she is old enough to understand what a fighter she is and how much I admire her. Today her anesthesiologist was the same one who sedated her for her scans on August 29, the same one that teared up when Caelynn said, I love you all so much, as she was going to sleep. Paul was the one who went in with Caelynn to be put to sleep and the last words the anesthesiologist said to Paul were, Shes a Surviror. That she definitely is a SURVIVOR who has fought so hard to be here shes a FIGHTER and there is no doubt in my mind she beat cancer without even looking back!!! I would like to thank everyone who prayed, supported, and thought about us during this journey!! There is no way we could have gotten this far without all of you!!
