The port was successfully removed Friday morning. I think he felt better after it came out....he was hungry and has been eating more which is good to get his strength built up. The port for hemo dialysis was put in Friday afternoon. He will have a more permanent port put in when all the infection is gone. We had a concern about his heart because he almost passed out in the bathroom Saturday morning but the doctors have done some tests and determined that it was a fluke because he has had so much going. They did discover a cyst on his kidney that we will have to deal with in the near future. Hopefully we will get to go home Tuesday. THANK YOU for all your prayers.
