The post I commented on got deleted but I wanted to share this anyways so you don’t get the headache I got. I’ve seen a few requests to buy or rehome dogs on here. Admin can delete this if it’s against the rules. When buying a puppy, be cautious of people who say they did the shots themselves. I’m not saying dont buy from them but check their dates and make sure they did good documentation. When I bought my dog Loki from a breeder they told me they did all his puppy shots. They also gave me a card with the shot stickers on it and dates. When I took him to go get his microchip we found out she gave the shots TOO EARLY and that he was not protected from the diseases he was vaccinated for. This meant we had to re do all his shots on top of doing the micro chip and the rabies. It sucked. So be on the look out and do your homework before you invest in a dog from someone. Also it is my understanding that it is illegal to do your own rabies vaccinations in Oklahoma. Only a licensed Vet or a vet tech working with a vet can do it. So keep that in mind when they say they have had all their shots. :D
