The post that follows is unlikely to win me any new friends, on the contrary it will cost me some, but it is my opinion and I have never been shy about expressing that. In the last few days we have witnessed terrorist attacks in France that have claimed the lives of innocent civilians and although that is an everyday phenomenon in countries in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the mere fact that these events took place in Europe, so near to home, have horrified the ‘whole world’. All indications are that these attacks were carried out by some sort of ‘Muslim’ extremists. Much as I hate to classify people by their religious beliefs, that is where the emphasis is placed by both Western governments and the controlled MSM. Strangely enough, when US led alliances attack Middle Eastern countries, we never refer to them as ‘Christian Crusades’. Irrespective of who might be behind such groups, there are far too many involved who claim to represent Islam carrying them out that inevitably draw criticism and condemnation for followers of that faith. What is happening in Syria and Iraq with the group calling itself the ‘Islamic State’ is a clear example of this. Those of us who keep up with world events are aware that the US and cronies were behind the creation of this group, [they have made no secret of it], but at the same time, those tens or even hundreds of thousands that are involved in the horrendous crimes carried out in that region claim to be Islamists. It is no longer Syrians, Libyans, Iraqis, Yemenis or any other nationality; it is “Islamists”. Western governments and MSM love this; it helps promote the agenda of spreading Islamophobia. To say that the West is behind such groups is not enough to exonerate the Muslims who willingly participate. What highlights the gullibility of such actors who allow themselves to be manipulated so easily, is that while they are busily killing each other in North Africa and the Middle East, their natural enemy sits [geographically] in the middle of all this havoc apparently unaffected by, unafraid of and above all most definitely benefiting from it!
