The power of Spirit. A family member of mine lost a grandmother to death the other night. The doctor had given her a terminal prognosis and the staff were getting set to move her to a hospice. Grandmother fell into a coma and was not eating, drinking or having either of those two done intravenously. The entire family had been visiting their 93 year old grandmother - all but her son who was on his way from the east coast. She went into a coma on Friday and her son was due to arrive Monday evening at 11:00pm PST. Against all odds grandmother was still alive though in a coma Monday evening. Her son arrived and he spent five hours with his Mom who was able to squeeze his hand in recognition. She died Tuesday morning at 6:00am PST after having said her final good-bye to her son.
