The power of motivating someone to do something great. Seems that I am a grandfather of sorts. Last year I gave a lecture here at Spacefest V and one person in the audience was motivated to go the extra mile. They returned this year with a radio controlled model of a lunar / mars rover. I was blown away. I remember them snapping photos of last years lecture (they should have asked for a slide set). None the less, this rover was the result -their first step into designing space hardware. A lot of fun and possibly a large step into the space sector. It is great to see that a gem of an idea has turned into reality. Ill get some more photos before I go. They had people talking to them when i tried to get a picture then they were gone. Just snapped their poster for the moment.
