The preachers duty and the Sinners responsibility You cannot find any place in the Bible where it asks you to feel guilty. Repentance is one thing; guilt is another. The Holy Spirit brings conviction; the devil brings condemnation. Theres a huge difference. Joyce Meyer... O Preacher... Your duty is not to make them feel guilty by your powerful message... Your duty...Our duty...is to show them forgiveness and restoration through the blood of Jesus... Okay, put the grammar aside... Lets put this into practice with this simple prayer... Dear God, I bring all who fornicated and defiled their bodies this month into your loving hands. Guilt and loss of conscience has run a rough course in their inner man. The devil has drilled pits of condemnation. Thoughts of resignation to defeat have buried into their soul. Many have lost second, third and even seventh chances..Nevertheless, there is forgiveness with you that your name may be feared. So I ask in your name, even in the name of your only son, let there be a cleasing and a complete restoration in Jesus name....Let habits and excuses be broken by the power of your Holy Spirit... and Let the new life in Christ be birth in you with grace for victorious living in Jesus name... And now, O guilty one, now free from guilt, I say unto you...Arise, go and sin no more in Jesus name... Someone say Amen.
