The precautionary “Boil Water Advisory” for the areas affected by the Vaucluse Road water main rupture yesterday has been lifted. The City of Aiken Engineering and Utilities Department has reported that water samples have been tested and that there is no longer a need to boil water prior to consumption. The areas affected by the “Boil Water Advisory” were: Vaucluse Road between Church Street and Richland Avenue Linden Street between Vaucluse Road and Richland Avenue Richland Avenue between Lancaster Street and Vaucluse Road Church Street between Vaucluse Road and Edgefield Avenue
