The presence of God is everywhere. David said in the Psalms that there was no place that someone could go from His presence, and, that is all quite true. We would also have to admit that there is a vast difference in Gods presence being around us and us being in the Presence of God! No, that is not contradictory. The difference can be explained like this: You can be in a swimming pool, that is one thing, you are present in the pool. It is a different matter altogether when the pool (or a large quantity of its contents) are inside of you! The latter is definitely a life changing event! ~Skip Boyer
