The presents are wrapped, I am caught up on EastEnders, got my Christmas playlist on my phone, my Dad is snoring upstairs and I am having a lovely Sgitheanach dram reminding me of loved ones north of the border. Spoke to someone special on the phone today and had an awesome night with three of my favourite York ladies last night. This Christmas is shaping up to be alright, so far. Always tinged with the loss of all four of my grandparents at this time of year but hopefully they look down on us and will us on for another year. There seems to be so much sadness in the world, what with recent events in Glasgow. Last night in York I was saddened to see so many homeless people sleeping out in the cold. Bought some food for two, gave fags and money to two others. Im not saying this to show off... I am terrible at charity. I feel guilty about it. Doesnt seem possible to help them all - we all have to cut our coats. The Turner family Christmas starts tomorrow so will wish you all a happy and healthy one now. Still plenty faces to see while Im down and looking forward to catching up with the Scots contingent upon my return. Beannachdan na Nollaig Oirbh x
