The prevalence of EBOLA in Liberia today, isnt an evidence of Gods wrath, nor a consequence of our innate refusal to seek redemption and salvation. It is a culmination of ignorance, insensitivity, cruelty, lackadaisical approach , and a concerted embrace of failure on the part of leaders . The presupposition that this nightmare is fortuitous can be simply termed as outlandish! When the deadly virus made its debut on our northern shores, our leaders, through the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Commerce, Enviromental Protection Agency, Ministry of Justice , and even county Administrators, should have immediately quarantined the affected victims, start a data collection, immediately send samples for study, and ensure our borders are secured to avoid an exacerbation of this terror! Instead , the situation was politicized folks vehemently refuted the existence of such virus, the law makers were questioning the budget needed to combat this virus, as a result the sickness was cultivated and today, we have a full blown out terror on our hands, the body count is increasing exponentially, Liberians are living in fear simply because we lacked disaster preparedness! he who fails to prepare has already prepared to fail
