The primary obligation of good government is impartial arbiter. The government is given the power to incarcerate people and in a few nations to execute people. It also can inflict economic harm. To balance this power, it must be restrained by habeas corpus, the burden of proof. By this definition, the United States is far, far from good government. The US government is a corporation handmaiden. The corporation is nothing more than a modified plantation. Yes Rebs, you won. This corrupt type of government has the full support of both parties.
