The problem for Cain is not that he was not religious. Cain was - TopicsExpress

The problem for Cain is not that he was not religious. Cain was very religious. He wanted to worship God. He desired to have a relationship with God too. His issue was that he wanted to decide HOW and WHEN he worshiped. Cain wanted to decided the WAY to God when God had already defined the path to Him. There are billions of Cains in Christianity today. We want to worship God however we choose to. Unfortunately for such, the end thereof is no better than that of Cain. God has said; Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Exo. 20:8-11 Many there are who purport to be worshiping God. If you did this ignorantly in the past, God has forgiveness for you. But now, you have read this and KNOW that God wants to be worshiped on the Sabbath day. The Seventh Day of the week. He has NEVER mentioned anywhere in the whole Bible that you can decide for yourself which day to keep holy. There is only one Sabbath day in the Bible! It is from Sunset Friday to sunset Saturday. Do not be a Cain! Be an Abel! Happy Sabbath!
