The problem is not minimum wage but the HOURLY wage, It basically tells someone that your ONLY value is your time - NOT what you know or are capable of doing. Minimum wage is part of the Liberal-Democrat entitlement mentality. You get paid because you exist and are here. NOT for what you do. The guy who CANT or wont do the job well gets paid the SAME amount as the one that can in an hourly job. The employer takes that into consideration and AVERAGES it out when calculating salary. YOUR pay depends on your co-workers ability and effort or lack of. The boss is ONLY interested in get er done. There was once a time when you got paid not by the hour but, for the JOB - and, a bonus and/or promotion if you did it well. Most jobs paid by the week. I am fortunate that I have rarely been paid by the hour but, for completing the task. I was a salaried employee. Sometimes it took 60 hours a week and sometimes it took 30. But, it depended on MY ability, energy and efforts. I was in charge of my time and my salary. :->
