The problem is not the way women dress or present themselves to - TopicsExpress

The problem is not the way women dress or present themselves to society. The problem is the way in which society, men in particular, choose to receive them. Instead of telling women not to wear short dresses and skirts, we should be telling men to have respect for women regardless of what she is wearing. Her attire has nothing to do with his ability to execute good manners and respect and control his behavior. If he wasnt raised with manners, thats an entirely separate issue. Dont use a womans attire as an excuse to treat her disrespectfully. Thats a copout, and its bullshit. All men should treat women with respect regardless of how they look or what they wear. Women are not conditioned to disrespect men if theyre dressed like shit (which in many cases they are)--so why should this standard be applied to women? Cut the crap folks--respect is a two way street, not a highway and a bike path. #R-E-S-P-E-C-T
