The problem is that most of us don’t appreciate our distinct existence, nor do we believe that we possess a unique life that sets us apart from the other six billion people on Earth today. Even though we were born with an original self, the tragedy is that many of us will live and die as a copy. The Irish writer Oscar Wilde said it best when he wrote: “Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else’s opinion, their lives a mockery, their passions a quotation.” Randolph, Larry (2011-11-01). Original Breath (Kindle Locations 67-71). BookBaby. Kindle Edition.
