The problem with arguing that all forms of social criticism are unacceptable shaming is that it can lead to your own form of shaming: critic shaming. Your labeling all criticism as shaming can easily become an attempt to use shame to criticize the critics just as you are accusing them of using it to criticize you. Some humility and circumspection seem in order for those who see shamers everywhere. (For the record, there are forms of criticism that involve problematic shaming, just not all of them.)
