The problem with falling in love is that it has no guarantee for anything really. You get into it as an experience and hope things will work out. When you get into love, you are not married yet. Do not treat your lover like a wife or husband because you are not. What causes heartbreak is seeing yourself as a wife before you are made one. When finally you are left, you get devastated. Never make the mistake of calling a boyfriend, Hubby or a girlfriend, wifey even if you are joking. Your mind gets so attached that at the end you see yourself married. You expect to be treated like a married person and you make demands like a married man or woman. Marriage does not come until it is official. As long as you dont have a ring, it can go in any direction. Engagements and promises can be broken. If one wants to call you his wife or her husband then put the ring first. Men know women value marriage so to get to your deepest part of your heart they will promise you marriage and all you do is act married. Even your friends call you Mrs so and so. There is a danger if that relationship ends. Most of the pain is in what you think the world would say. When a man leaves you, he really doesnt care about your world and your friends. He does what satisfies him. People that take time to recover from heartache saw themselves married before they got married. They settled into married life and had a world of a family and their ideal children. They lived in that dream and it is not easy to just accept that it was just a dream. My advice, before you get married officially dont get married in your brain. Treat him as a boyfriend and treat her as a girlfriend. That way when you get a wife you will respect her. When you get a husband you will treat him like one. If you treat a boyfriend like a husband, and you break up, the man who will eventually marry you will be treated less of a husband because of past experience. #Vusi
