The problem with generic gym programmes you can sometimes find online is that theyre ...... generic. Your gym programme should be tailored to your specific goals and of course your own ability level. Generic programmes dont account for an individuals, flexibility, mobility, age, past health problems, gym experience, previous injury, present injury and just their general capability with certain technical lifts. All these issues would be addressed by a good PT before a plan was given or at least picked up while working with them and adjusted as required. If youre serious about changing your body composition investing in a qualified PT would always be advised.
