The project consisted of the implementation of TSB Sugar CaneLab solution, which is an integrated laboratory information management system, weighbridge cane testing and payment system. This implementation was concluded in May 2005 to current 2013 and the Software will be re-branded as Lindie-Q CaneLab Pro - 2013 The Lindie-Q CaneLab solution will increase the profits, productivity, workflow, stock control and will be a complete hands on management application with report writers and graphical charts and stats with the new upgrade the following major changes have been made and included is manufacturing (BOM) module and a full accounting module up to Trail Balance and Income Statement that is Directly link to all the factory’s in Malelane, Komatipoort, Pongola, KwaZulu-Natal, Swaziland. The Tranquility (ERP) application will be upgraded to a full Cloud and online ERP Software management Solution to make the best use of the latest .NET C++ Programming tools, Oracle toolstack, Oracle 10G database, forms and reports, the introduction of the Discoverer Web reporting tool and the new Oracle Fusion Middle-ware stack-using portal. Mr Van Der Westhuizen built the software to specifically fit the sugar market. The software, Lindie-Q CaneLab, is robust and can be easily managed remotely. “We understand that getting IT or other key skills in remote locations is difficult and costly. We bridge the gap by providing solutions and IT resources that understand the specifications for the sugar industry. We are setting up a new team in Nelspruit to go on site during the implementation phase of the projects to configure software, provide user training and provide support. “However, the ongoing support services are provided remotely through satellite feeds to remote locations, using the latest technology to provide a cost-effective and there for Lindie-Q will Sign a 5 Year SLA – Maintenance Support Agreement with TSB for all Software Support and Training. “Sugar factories need to be able to compete effectively.
