The prompt : Im not perfect, never have been, never will - TopicsExpress

The prompt : Im not perfect, never have been, never will be. Almost everybody say this. I, myself said so. But now Id like to believe it isnt so. Everybody is just as perfect for there is nothing that God made imperfectly. Each one of us is unique in our own imperfection that makes us just as perfect. We are all perfect as human beings. The context of being not perfect, in my opinion comes from the premise that we all make mistakes, but even mistakes is also indefinitive in nature. It has been said: to err is human, to forgive, divine (by Alexander Pope). Therefore it is in human nature to commit sin. All of us experience occasional lapses in judgment. We all make mistakes and our kids make mistakes. It’s easy to point out that we’re only human and rationalize returning to our unhealthy or dangerous behaviors. ( Megan Gladwell / The Bible page). We can speak of every weakness imaginable as human beings, and no one can refute any. No one is completely righteous. Even our reasonings may not be reasonable at all times. What is right in every individuals perception may not be true and correct to another. There is nothing really absolute law without a need for reasonable explanation that would make such applicable to a particular case. Laws of the land or what we call worldly laws (constitutions) are conceptualized for these reasons, to bring order, and peace, but why? For it is in nature for us to go against each other (???) God, Himself had laid our paths towards Him. ....and He gave His only begotten son, to save us, to redeem us. Everything is a part of a whole, perfect! So why do we keep saying we are not perfect? We are all perfect. Everything that God created is to its perfection. Our imperfections make us perfect. It made me realized just as I am typing this that to say Im not perfect is a kind of AN EXCUSE. Ever realized that this Im not perfect comes handy whenever there is a committance of shortcomings or failures? We tend to reason out for our weaknesses. Im sorry , Im not perfect, a common excuse, an alibi. Whenever I hear this, in my mind there is this voice that rebut it with : is it new? Is it only now that you discover it. Do I really sound sarcastic? Is asking what is so glaring a fact just to make one realize that the stupidity and absurdity, sarcasm? No offense, I just would like to be more straightforward. Man is a perfect creation of God, and it is being ungrateful to undermine His creations. The imperfections is attributed to man by man himself. Ever appreciated an art piece and complimented it as Perfect!? Ever been so amazed when something suited your taste for something that you exclaimed, perfect!? Why not appreciate oneself? It could be a beginning of perfectionism. I dont know to you, but I say I am perfect. God made me perfect as I am. My faults does not diminishes my perfectness to His eyes. I do not boast, I am thankful. Humbleness is not by mere saying I am not perfect. Humbleness is keeping feet on the ground. Correct me if Im wrong.
