The proof that backs up what I wrote in my previous post- Henry Fonda is actually reading locations off the GPS on his iPhone as he travels across the Arizona dessert in a stagecoach in a scene in the 1948 John Wayne movie, Ft. Apache- meanwhile Shirley Temple watches and listens..... ALL OF THIS IN 1948- The iPhone was actually in existence over 6 decades before any of us knew anything about it- Who would have ever thought.....
