The prophetic clock has been ticking and the time for our release - TopicsExpress

The prophetic clock has been ticking and the time for our release is imminent. Not every historical time is as significant as another. But we now live in a time that the hinge of Gods door of release with a purpose has come: “the restoration of all things spoken by the holy prophets” (Acts 3:21), so as to restore and rebuild the house of the Lord. We have misunderstood the `house of the Lord. Just as many misunderstood Christ when He said He would raise up His temple in three days. We have believed that it was our `paneled houses(church buildings) our `local churches, our denominations, and special movements. It has been all along that it is us His temple or Tabernacle He wants built. Our vision has been focused exclusively on our part , our ‘paneled houses’, a church centered vision. Some have tried to franchise outlets by trying to build the newest `apostolic network, a new movement, or old historic denomination. Jesus said, I will build My church (Matt 16:18); He wants a house built for Him not made with hands. He desires one flock, with one shepherd (Jn 10:16); He wants the one church of the city according to Ephesians 4 and not our separate, individualized spiritual version of it (1 Cor 1:10-13; 3:1-9; 11:18; 12:25; 2 Cor 11:2-30; Eph 4:1-6). We have prevaricated(drifted from the truth) by saying, The time has not yet come for the Lords house to be built (Hag 1:2). Yet the Lord is being very clear that the time has come! Some have wondered why its so hard to `do church, why there is so much `burn-out . Why so many feel so much failure and frustration, and so little growth. I believe that we need to heed the words found in Haggi 1:5-9 5 Now therefore thus says the Lord of hosts: Consider your ways and set your mind on what has come to you. 6 You have sown much, but you have reaped little; you eat, but you do not have enough; you drink, but you do not have your fill; you clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; and he who earns wages has earned them to put them in a bag with holes in it. 7 Thus says the Lord of hosts: Consider your ways (your previous and present conduct) and how you have fared. 8 Go up to the hill country and bring lumber and rebuild [My] house, and I will take pleasure in it and I will be glorified, says the Lord [by accepting it as done for My glory and by displaying My glory in it]. 9 You looked for much [harvest], and behold, it came to little; and even when you brought that home, I blew it away. Why? says the Lord of hosts. Because of My house, which lies waste while you yourselves run each man to his own house [eager to build and adorn it]. The Lord is about to re-kindle a fire in the hearts of his people again. As they hear the prophetic sound of the apostolic kingdom builders. A holy people will here the sound and leave their selfish agendas and return to a vision of the kingdom and the raising up of a dwelling or resting place for God by the Spirit. That dwelling place is found in His people and not monuments to mans achievements!
