The proposed cost for renaisance dam 6000MW in Ethiopia is to cost twice Karuma 600mw dam. Ethiopia, which is currently building a railway line between Sabeta and Mieso in the Northern part of the country, is building it’s standard guage line at $3.8 million a kilometre. The 513km Railway line in Uganda is planned to 8bn dollars - which is about 15.6M dollars per kilometre( 4 times more than ethiopia line).
