The prosecutor in the Jennifer Laude Case found probable cause to Indict Corporal Joseph Pemberton for the crime of Murder. Under the Visiting Forces Agreement it is stated that an American serviceman should remain in the custody of the Americans. I just would like to ask the opinion of our members if they agree or their opinion that this is fair and should be followed? The Americans have refused the request if the Department of Foreign Affairs to turn over Pemberton to Philippine Custody despite the issuance of a warrant of arrest after the judge has The Determination of Probable Cause and ordered the DFA to coordinate with the Americans here in the Philippines.
