The provincial People’s Committee Chairman on July 10 granted certificates of first-time investment to four enterprises with foreign direct investment. Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Manh Hien grants investment certificates to four enterprises Mr. Nguyen Manh Hien, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Duong provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, on July 10 granted certificates of first-time investment to four enterprises with foreign direct investment (FDI). The businesses given investment certificates this time are: - Believe Zone Co., Ltd. (South Korean capital), investing in Phu Thai industrial park (IP) with USD800,000 of registered capital, specializing in producing polymer films and bags, trading in plastic pellets; - SD Global Vietnam Co., Ltd. (South Korean capital), investing in the expanded Dai An IP with over USD19.495 million of registered capital, producing and testing protective glasses, camera glasses for cell phones, etc.; - Dusco Vina Steel Wire Manufacturing and Export Co., Ltd. (South Korean capital), investing in Nam Sach IP with USD5 million of registered capital, specializing in steel wire production; - Changhong Vietnam Engineering Co., Ltd. (Seychelles), investing in Tan Truong IP with USD15 million of registered capital, specializing in producing molds, manufacturing and assembling plastic component assemblies and finished metal. IPs in the province have so far lured 187 projects, including 142 FDI projects from 30 countries and territories, with a total registered investment of USD3.373 billion (of which USD1.8 billion has been disbursed). 13 projects, including 10 FDI projects, with a total registered investment of USD323 million were attracted in the first six months of this year.
