The pruning process hurts. Pruning is the selective removal of, breaking and cutting off dead parts. God selects the areas in us that He needs to snip and He directs the areas of our growth. In a pruning season, you may see attack after attack, a lot of tests, what seems like dormancy, and mistakes that feel like failure. During these trials, the Holy Spirit will reveal to you the junk in you that needs to come out. Lack of faith, snip. Lack of stewardship, snip. Envy, snip. Insecurity, snip snip. Anger, snip. Lies, snip. Unfaithfulness, snip. Foolish pride and ego, snip, snip, snip, snip. Let God snip away all the deadwood that is weighing you down and hindering you from going to the next level. Pruning hurts you in the natural but it spiritually grows you. Dr.J.
