The public is invited to view the release of raptors into the wild at the Lake Guntersville State Park Saturday September 21, 2013 at 10am. As part of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the mission of the Southeastern Raptor Center is to rehabilitate injured or orphaned raptors, and to educate the public. Annually the center takes in between 200 and 275 birds of prey from across the Southeast. The release will take place at the Lake Guntersvile State Park lodge.
