The question what is that? Has been asked several times by family and customers when I use the term tractor in conjunction with chicken or turkey... The photos here are a representation of our farms turkey tractor. It is a light, framed structure that houses poultry. It is intended to be moved daily; providing the birds protection from the elements and creatures while still giving them fresh pasture to graze/free-range. Without these in our neck of the woods, every predator would have a feast before we ever got them to market. We have several made out of wood and this one out of conduit. They are about 10x12 and house 80 chickens or these 60 turkeys. The chickens will spend 5-6 weeks in these but the turkeys are in for about 2-3 weeks then free-ranging with poultry fence. More questions? Please ask?
