The quiet string of weather days will continue through Friday with lows tonight in the low to mid teens and highs tomorrow near 30° with a mixture of sun and clouds. A coastal storm on Sat. continues to appear it will track well south of the region putting our area on the far NW fringe. Its still early to lock a storm track which means theres some room for shifting...but Im anticipating a period of snow from Sat AM through the afternoon in the mid Hudson valley, southern Berkshire and Litchfield counties with a potential for a couple of inches. There will likely be a sharp NW edge to the snow shield with a chance a little light snow with little accumulation will make it as far north as the Capital Region and S. VT...Areas to the north and west of Alb will be cloudy and dry. High Sat. in the low 30s. Sunday will be breezy and dry, near 30 with a 2nd snow storm potential on Mon. This one is more likely to impact the entire region with at least some light snow..with a chance for a moderate snowfall out of it.
