The race for the finals in the last round in DAFL is on par with the AFLs last round. With many different possibilities. Battle for fourth spot is between Helsingborg Saints and FC Demons. The equation is easy, beat the Barras and then the Saints are in, loose to the Barras then hope Demons loose 1 of their two games in the last round. The Demons are very unlikely to bridge the 470 match point difference if the teams are to be on equal points. So the Demons need to win both games and hope the Saints loose to the Barras. If they succeed it would be a remarkable effort for a side that has forfeited five matches this season. The three point game against Port Malmö is a dead rubber game for the Saints. On the top end of the ladder its three teams wrestling for the minor Premiership. Port Malmō Maulers, Farum Cats and Aalborg Kangaroos. All have a chance to finish on top with 60 points and percentage may prove the difference. The Maulers want to win both against the Barras and Saints and keep their healthy percentage. The Cats will a need to beat the Kangaroos and Demons by good margins as the Maulers has a 76 point margin head start on them. Or they could hope for an Barras or Saints upset against the Maulers. But the Cats need to concentrate on home, as the Kangaroos are breathing down the necks. Aalborg could also finish on top but would probably need the Maulers to drop one as their percentage is unreachable for the Roos. Their match against the Cats though will be for the double chance and still have the dream to host the Grand Final. But if they beat the Cats and drop to the Demons then Farum may still finish higher on percentage. On the other side of the scale North Copenhagen Barracudas will be desperate to avoid their first ever wooden-spoon by knocking off the Swedish clubs. The Odense Lions have the bye and will be secretly cheering the Swedish boys on. For the Barras they need to win both games to get of the bottom. Otherwise they need to beat the Saints or Maulers by around 250 points and not loose to much in the other.
