The rap game (the industry/ our business) is All messed up. NAS called it years ago. If artist thought it was hard to sell, imagine what its about to be like now. If you dont have crossover appeal what shows you performing on? 106 WAS the culture. Doors were open to NEW up & coming artist. If you never couldnt get on ellen or the late night shows there was always BET. Well.. Now where you going to go? All these one hit wonder club rappers have no home. The urban hip hop community is small audience compared to AMERICA. Meaning you might be popping in your city or in the streets until jimmy fallon has no clue of who you are and wont let you on the show. Its real now. Its either shoot for superstar status or dont play the game. Theres no outlet for them to promote their work. Ig & twitter and youtube dont matter to a certain degree. Hell i seen a dude w 5 mil followers sell 14,560 1st week. You rappers better take acting classes or invest because if you think just because your MOMENT HOT you gone be popping for the next two years... BOY ARE YOU WRONG! Every body cant be jay z ... Its certain ones GOD put on earth to be who they are. Never get comfortable. Dont trap your creativity. Be a SUPERSTAR
