The rate of heroin addiction in Massachusetts is on the rise, causing fatal overdoses, violent crimes and heartache in the homes of many families. Today’s heroin is purer and cheaper than the heroin of 25 years ago, which had led Massachusetts residents to become hooked on this dangerous drug.
