The real litmus test of equality: She is a woman of color, Miss America Alumni, Harvard Alumni, and self described conservative. Shes obviously very intelligent and an achiever, but I worry that rather than garnering attention for a specific message that it will be lost amid the ad hominem attacks. Then she has to probably have to be under scrutiny as being token. Ive seen far too often that discussions go right down hill when some genius relies upon a 24/7 news channel for their views. Regardless of political affiliation, isnt it a bit ridiculous to dismiss her on the basis of HER affiliation without knowing her platform. There is a word for that... what is it.. tip of my tongue.... GROUPTHINK. I hope she does succeed, but only on the basis of what she intends to do. If you look at Illinois in recent years, that state could always do much..much..MUCH...worse. (Psst....think Rod Blagojevich ;))
