Who would guess that these attributes often result from trouble, distress and reflection? Of these three conditions, reflection may be the greatest. In life we are guaranteed to experience trouble and distress. In order to grow from lifes challenges, we must initiate a deeper ability. That ability resides in self-reflection. It is the ability to be brave enough to be willing to view ourselves through the looking glass of our thoughts, words, actions, and habits. The next step is to assess how we impact others and use that information for self-improvement. Try reflecting with this question ...Whats it like being on the other side of me?
