The real reason I think Frank Zappa stopped getting airplay was the fact he turned the mirror on certain segments of American society, and showed how dumbed down it was becoming. It wasnt a pretty picture and the more corporate of these people just plain couldnt handle this kind of exposure reaching peoples ears. Making Zappa look like some sort of deviate, was a convenient way of covering up this fact. Also the fact on this very show, theyre going on and on about so called filth that the American youth is being subjected to, when there are other, more pressing things to be concerned about. These days, the corporate elite welcome this kind of titilation to permeate the mainstream. They do this to distract the public from more important issues. Its this and also the way these twits pretend to care about the welfare of the common people, that annoys me. Zappa makes them out to be the twits they are. The corporate elite cant stand to be told theyre wrong with the way they do things. Zappa even comes up with the term Fascist Theocracy decades ahead of the curve. https://youtube/watch?v=8ISil7IHzxc
