The real wake-up call, I submit, Have fun my friend, and enjoy Life while you still can. If you need a wake-up call Wake-up early each morning And reflect and how you will Live each and every day through Then you will be surprised there’ll Be not too much surprises that will Come along the way, as you must Have anticipated even perhaps The unexpected - mostly however If you think good, you’ll feel good, If you feel bad at the start, the day May turn out bad, maybe just stay in Bed all day long - that is your wake-up call, You may think. Or better still remove the cobweb in Your mind, don’t even think any further Than the next step out of your doorway. Just accept what the day will offer you, Keep your cool, just do your job, no need for A wake up call, you had been awake all this Time. And you know that too much thinkin g Is not good for the health – you may have grey Hairs too prematurely, only to realize you could Have accomplished more, the nice and easier way, With lots of laughter and fun, and even you loved One will appreciate, how wonderful life is, only if you Did not take it too seriously, and remove the fun Out of it.
