The reality is American white women are aggressively sabotaging American white men out of education altogether and succeeding at their objective. That is why so many men currently enrolled in the American higher education system foreign born , especially in the STEM courses .... The STEM GAP is actually a gap between middle class white females and the immigrants / international students . White women are most of the educators and run nearly the whole education system as such they are outdoing every demographic domestically - there is no STEM GAP for people born here . The author here is likely a feminist who wants us to throw more systematic advantages at middle-class white women . This author is using the prevalence of *foreign* men as justification for policies that will further widen the achievement gap between white women and the rest of us
