The rear control dial on my Olympus OM-D E-M1 started slipping a few weeks after I bought it, but the problem was intermittent, and not much of an issue. Since then it has gotten progressively worse, to the point where I am now spinning and spinning it to change my shutter speed... which makes the camera virtually unusable. So I just boxed it up and submitted a warranty repair order. On Monday I will be shipping it to Connecticut for repair, and i dont know how long it will be before I get it back. Talk about traumatic! I feel like I am sending one of my children out of town, to stay with relatives I dont entirely trust. But the worst part: The service center is located on Anngina Drive... which is not exactly comforting to a guy with Coronary Artery Disease!
