The reason Christmas is not like it was when we were young, Because, as we got older, our general perspective of Christmas and any thing else becomes more of a concept more so then an imagination. Think of an animal, lets say a dog for instance. Year after year, a dog is still the same. You may teach it tricks but notice the dog is still the same (But now with tricks). They seems to stay with-in the spectrum of their natural being. Because we humans are a specie of reasoning, we some time become subconsciously disillusion to a giving system or man made occurrence. Should we be subjected to these occurrences, we become programmed and institutionalized. This is why God had given us the inclination to truth. Sometimes, an event subconsciously seems to be riddled with faults respective in which we are not open minded to the actual truth but feel that there’s something wrong. Jesus is Lord. That is the truth. When was he Born, I was raised up to believe Dec. 25. This is what I was told. The Lord tells us not to worry about tomorrow, He Said tomorrow has to worry about its self. However, I like Christmas, why? All the lights mean “presents”. Economically, “Marketing?” Spiritually, “The Birth of Jesus Christ” Now that I’m wiser, I have to learn to be uncertain about everything that I was told.
