The reason I havent continued blogging is because it has taken every ounce of my feisty (feisty borrowed from Gary) self to whip this facility into shape. Too many details to post piecemeal. Ill eventually write a composite and post it on Facebook. Advocating for my rights and specific needs (i.e., renal diet) has been an uphill fight. I have been forced to educate the so-called professionals who staff and run the facility. It has not been easy, but my will has prevailed in all instances. Mind you, I have not complained about anything trivial, only things that could impede my recovery. I am going home on February 1, 2015, but I shall be remembered, in various ways, by those whose lives Ive touched here, gently or not so.
