The reason some people do not accept the official report is because they have no understanding about constrution. When metal gets hot, here really hot, it bends. The metal frame was not supposed to bend under heat because it was sprayed with a special coating. The reason the coating failed was because when the heavy jets hit the building at high speed it knocked the coating loose. As a result, when the metal at the fire line began to give way, the structure above the fire line came down like a battering ram; perhaps the heaviest battering ram in the history of construction.
