The reason why dark magick is not beneficial, is because darkness affects those around us, and when those around us are affected in a dark way, this will bring a heaviness into our own lives, and that is why there is a warning that comes with it. And the reason why bright magick is beneficial, is because it brings life and love to those who are around us— a lightheartedness— and this in turn gives us wings! Dark magick is tempting, because it gratifies our lower selves; the selves that we feel like we want to roll in; the selves that are fearful, doubtful and vengeful. But at the end of the day, fear, doubt and unforgiveness are things that will age your body and bring heartache into your life. So this is the premise of why dark magick is to be avoided, it is not in fact a premise of fear and ignorance; rather, it is a premise of life and love.
