The reason why taking an inventory is so important is doing this, all the junk in our life is exposed. Today, please be encouraged to list out what may steal your inner peace. This is what is written from the Word of God: Do not argue and complain (Phil 2:14) Our lips can destroy: Proverbs 18:21 NIV The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. It also says to get rest Exodus 34:21 NIV “Six days you shall labor, but on the seventh day you shall rest; even during the plowing season and harvest you must rest. So this is my list: * be consciously aware when I am arguing and complaining. Is the subject important? If not, why argue and complain? Can we fix it by arguing and complaining? Remember we are trying to establish inner peace in our souls, we no longer want the things we can not control destroy our peace. I got a Jaywalking ticket, the officer said dont let this ruin my day - I said it wont because I have Jesus. * Old hurts - we must not hold them inside us - expose them - forgiveness releases bitterness. Ask Jesus to heal your heart. * traffic Jams - Pray for the people involved in the accident. Absorb that although we dont immediately see it, Jesus has something greater - His plans are greater * Irritating people - try to stay away from them - pray for them * corrupt governments - Serenity Prayer God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cant change, accept this world as Jesus did. lots to list. ok your turn - list things that does not produce inner peace - expose them, get wisdom and healing, Go to Jesus and ask Him how to handle things and to go on the path towards Inner Peace May peace be with you.
