The reasons why an Artist should not give up, because they feel - TopicsExpress

The reasons why an Artist should not give up, because they feel that their Art is not being praised or respected: Your Gift---it is innate. The Art World can be so crowded to the point that you may believe that you have no place being here or you want to be a rebel. Do not sweat on either belief, because these are secondary instincts. Your 1st Instinct: You should surround yourself with the self-confidence that there is a future in every art piece that you create right now. Music, dance, painting, photography, sculpture, literature, acting, & any other Art that I did not name, each one has a projectile that could possibly stabilize your art into a position to be reexamined in the future & greeted with a new generation saying, Wow, we get it now, this person was an Artist! Vincent van Gogh & Vivian Maier are prime examples of the doctrine, Do it now & let them find you later. Photography & Music are swamped with so many people wanting to use either one as a bracket to pull up on & express themselves---some tracing the trends with ambitions of wanting to be noticed, some steal styles without giving credit, others are trying to keep their Art traditional, ongoing with originality, mastering & studying their art with a core dedication called, Passion. Do not become distracted, & continue to be yourself as an Artist. You should always be mentally strong enough to outbox the Hype, because you know your wisdom & you wont fall for the, Trick of Hype called, The Something for Nothing Theory. I think that we have more artists now than those who write about the arts, art-experts, curators, art-protectors & art-lovers. This is not a bad thing, this is just the speed of our civilization, right now. AGAIN, DO NOT STOP YOUR ART! I wrote, do not stop your art, because every speed must meet a slowness to rebuild & reexamine the path that set the highest speed. In the future, we will have more art-experts, curators, art-protectors & art-lovers, because it will be the cultural responsibility of the next generation to reexamine what we are doing right now. SO, WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT STOP YOUR ART. I would apologize for writing a little more than I usually do, inside of this box; however, I wont apologize because I am a Writer. :-)
