The recent #TellYourFriends campaign from Decoding Dyslexia - NJ (asking people to post a fact or piece of information about dyslexia on their page) elicited some great responses and advice from our community: Bridget - Dyslexia is not JUST about reversing letters/numbers Melissa - Start here Debbie - Even if a teacher is not trained in how to teach a child w/ dyslexia there are simple things that they can do to showcase their intelligence. Have them do a presentation on a topic. Have them answer questions verbally. Show their knowledge in an artistic way. Let them lead the group-they often think outside the box.
