The recent agreement between American and Canadian security agencies has emboldened Canadian police and security forces to over-step their boundaries from spying on genuine threat to spying on innocent citizens. Such a move and acceptance is acceptance towards totalitarianism - and politicians know this, even if they will not admit it. Accepting totalitarianism in Canada is a cowardly move from overt, direct threats world-wide where the war against the west belongs. If Canadian leaders had the moral certitude to utterly quash enemies, we would not be in this internal mess.
