The recent developments from China related to Afro-Chinese marriages are encouraging. Make no mistake here. There is no generalization, but Han-Chinese attitude toward white people powerfully rich . It was true then and it is true now. This love toward whites generally exist among young Han-Chinese across the country in general and in cities in particular. I lived in China almost 10 years and carry great lovely memories. But I did confront very negative or racism toward me from a certain quarters of Han-Chinese. Some Chinese treatment toward me over whites was deeply unpleasant despite the fact I respect Chinese history, culture and political positions than whites who were there then. I am always fighter, and challenged their ugly views toward blacks. Anyway, the news from Guanzhou, home to significant portions of Africans is encouraging. What history suggests that Chinese are quick learners for better changes. I hope they will continue this journey with Africans because Africans are our early ancestors.
