The referendum offers what will be the only chance to vote to stop paying for Westminster’s MPs and Lords, we Scots currently pay for MP’s, Lords and MSPs but in an independent Scotland we would only pay for MSPs. Saving Scotland’s taxpayers £50 million a year. There are 650 MPs within the UK, 40 from Wales, 18 from Northern Ireland, 59 from Scotland and 533 from England. Scots are in the ridiculous situation where every decision made concerning the Uk, even the amount of Scotland’s own revenues it gets back to spend will be decided in a vote with 650 MPs, 40 from Wales, 18 from Northern Ireland, 59 from Scotland and 533 from England. If there is a No vote we will be leaving our futures in the hands of a political system that lied to take us into illegal wars , covered up child abuse by its own MPs, stole tax payers money in the expenses scandal, opened up the English NHS to privatisation to profit from peoples suffering (147 Lords and 73 MPs have interests in companies or individuals involved in private healthcare), sold RoyalMail to their friends , the list of corruptions is endless and this is our only opportunity to get away from it and not pass it on to the next generation. The Scottish Parliament is set up not to allow the corruption that goes on at Westminster, Expenses are publicly available for all to see, The parliamentary code of conduct is actually enforced, Legislation has to pass through 3 rounds of committees in between Parliamentary readings before it is passed .
